Today is Friday, January 13th, and we have just gotten out of the pretrial hearing in the case

against Richard Allen. And this pretrial hearing specifically focused on issues of discovery

and change of venue and the gag order. Let's not bury the lead. The big news out of this hearing

is this trial will be held in Carroll County in Delphi, Indiana, which is where these two young

girls lived and died. The court and all of the attorneys acknowledge that it will be difficult

if not impossible to draw a fair and unbiased jury from the residents of Carroll County,

since so many people here have some sort of personal connection to the case. So what the plant

is is that a jury will be drawn from another county, a county yet to be determined, and then that

jury will be brought to Carroll County so the case can be heard here. It's also a matter of

convenience, since so many of the witnesses and family members live here. In addition to that,
