This is a mini meditation, just a few quiet minutes before you settle in for the night.

If your mind is looping on a decision tonight, settle in for the night.

Our brains love to problem solve at the worst possible hours. But decisions get clearer after rest, almost never at 2 a.m. So let's give

your mind a break. Bring your attention to your breath and take a slow inhale through your nose.

And a longer exhale through your mouth.

Again, breathe in ease and breathe out the question just for now.

Let your shoulders soften. Let your jaw loosen.

Let your breath settle into a steady rhythm.

When there are too many choices in front of you, the mind can spin in circles, trying to find the perfect one.

But perfection doesn't need you tonight. Let's use a gentle visualization to help you soften the grip of decision-making.

Picture all of your options swirling inside a small glass jar on your nightstand.

Each thought, each what if, each possible direction.
