I'm Chris Foster, Fox News, the House Rules Committee votes seven to six to advance a bill

to suspend the nation's debt limit to avoid default projected by the Treasury Department

to kick in next Monday.

It's a full house vote today.

There's opposition on both sides.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, as the default deadline approaches, wonders

allowed about what he's heard.

That 95% of the House Republican Conference supports the agreement.

That doesn't appear to be the case.

As he talks to progressive Democrats who have questions, House Freedom Caucus chair Scott

Perry of Pennsylvania says Speaker McCarthy's deal with President Biden doesn't cut it.

And that's why these members and others will be absolutely opposed.

The most conservative in the House say the deal doesn't go far enough to reign in federal

spending.

But then all Scott Fox News, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis campaigning in iOS's former

president Trump should be attacking a president Biden's record, not his.

He used to say how great Florida was.

Hell, his whole family moved to Florida under my governor's ship.

Trump's been attacking him on social media for months before and now since the announcement

that DeSantis is running for president.
