just after a three-one loss to Leon for Liverpool and the Dubai Super Cup followed by just to rub salt in the wounds a loss on penalties as well

which secures that out of a possible 4 points Liverpool have taken 0 from the first game

but we will start with the positives

Matt obviously Fabio Valle opened the scoring very early on there to take advantage of a defensive mistake

and poke it home that'll be a good confidence boost for him and are you

expecting to see a lot more from him after the season resumes? Obviously we've

not really seen too much of what the sort of impressive football we were

sort of expecting and Harvey

Elliot's out shone him a bit as that youngster in the in the starting 11 so yeah what

you're expecting to see from him going forward? Yeah I think it was a good start for him today. I think he is one of those

players that I think you can see that there's there's more to be unlocked from him. I

think it's going to be you know really important over the next few weeks really

with obviously Lewis Diaz looking to be injured now for a little bit

longer than what we thought, the other jotter obviously out until February as well.

I think he's going to have to play a little bit on that left-hand side.

Obviously we've seen Darwin

Nunez do that and sort of having been displaced by Roberto Fomeno through the

middle and you know there are other options but I do think you know Fabio

Cavallio is is going to have to play a part. There's lots of football coming.
