So Max, you joined Doncaster on loan in the summer, it's your first loan away from Liverpool.

How are you finding it so far?

Yeah, I'm finding it really good.

Shuttle as well, all the lads made me feel really welcome from the get-go.

Yeah, I think it's just really good being here and seeing like what's like

around the first year environment week and week out to being on like the away trips,

being around the training sessions, being with some

experienced pros. So yeah I'm really enjoying it so far.

And how's League 2 differ from your youth football that you're used to at Liverpool?

I think it's just a lot more competitive, there's a lot more on the line and people are willing

to put the bodies on the line more and I think it's just it's like a big step in my career going up to

playing men's football instead of being around Academy football.

And do you remember when you like first had conversations with Liverpool about going online?

Yeah, it was just in the mid-transfer window and they just asked what my point of view was on it and I said I'm up for the challenge and I'd like to get out there and

experience what it's like in the men's game and they was all for and they put their trust in me

and let me go too so yeah.

When were you first aware of Doncaster's interest?

Because I think it was a late, reasonably late one on deadline day.

I suppose there's that moment where you think are you going to get away on loan or not

or you're going to have a season or

half a season with the under 21s again. So how did that move come about?
