Hey everybody, this is Rob Leifeld. Welcome again to another edition of Rob Observations. We are

continuing to sail the comic book pop culture sees. So much is going on in comic in uh comic books and pop culture.

There's not a day that goes by that we're not reading whether or not a movie like

Wonder Woman 84 the big sequel to Wonder Woman, which I,

I love the original Wonder Woman movie from what it was I think it's 2017.

Gallagher Doe. I love the the setting of world war

one i loved all of it i think gal is transcendent in the role i think uh just uh just a great

great effort all around very excited to see the sequel uh bum that there's continual talk that it's being pushed back.

I would love for it to drop on HBO Max because this last year has really, you know,

focused me on my direct-to-consumer, you know, habits.

And I like getting all these big budget... direct-to-consumer, you know, habits.

And I like getting all these big budget, you know, pop culture offerings on my, in my H-K-K,

H-K receivership, the 4K or whatever, HD, all of it. It's cool. It looks great. I love it. I love sitting on my recliners and absorbing this stuff. But in talking of Wonder Woman, we are talking of one of

DC Comics biggest icons. And certainly I think, I mean, Wonder Woman went above and beyond. It made more than Man of Steel. It made more than Batman Superman. It was a giant global, huge success. So, so, because I mean, honestly, you know, movie stars, movies are about movie stars. And Galgado became a movie star with wonder woman and so obviously

we're all very excited about the sequel and where that takes the DCU and and where you know what it

portends for the entire DC film universe but the thing about DC comics is DC Comics has been on everybody's minds

and on, DC Comics is the hot potato topic of the business and has been for all of 2020.

Prior to the pandemic, 2020 kicked off. I believe it was February with the firing of their longstanding

publisher, publisher prime, whatever we're going to call him, Dan De Deo. And then that

started the ball rolling towards an eventual rollback, scale back, then a distribution shift where they went to,

they went away from the giant distributor that has kind of been the dominant delivery source

to the comic book market for comic books, whether it was from Marvel or DC, they left
