A little hollow. Feeling like every option had walked out the door without telling me. I've been doing this work for a long time, and I still got caught by the same lie our brains love to tell. The strange part is, the answer was sitting right next to my coffee cup the whole time. Important Points "I have nothing" puts you on the couch. "I can't see what I have" puts you on a search. Same morning, different day. Inattentional blindness is real. Your options are the gorilla walking past while you focus somewhere else entirely. Momentum doesn't care how big the action is. I said, just like that, there was no setup. There was no warm up. There was no clever way to start this thing. I had a list, yes. I had some ideas, yes. I had a whole topic already ready to go. And somewhere between the first six cups of coffee and this chair, boom, gone. Oh, you get it? You know what I'm talking about? You've done it before? You're going to sit down to do something, a thing, and the thing you actually wanted to do really enjoyed doing, and then suddenly, boom, the brain just goes flat and you're just like staring like, nothing, bum, nothing.
