When Lazarus took ill and died, his sister Martha blamed it on Jesus.

If you had been here, our brother would not have died,

says Martha.

In other words, where were you?

You could have saved him from death. Jesus says to her without a word of defensiveness, Martha, I am the

resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me will never die. Recently Chuck Swindall started a verse-by-verse study in the book of revelation called

unveiling the End and today he decided to place this series on pause to give our

full attention to the Easter story. No other holiday on the

Christian calendar reaches greater heights because our faith is squarely founded on the death, burial, and

resurrection of Jesus Christ.

So today on Insight for Living, Chuck Swindall invites us to witness a miracle by Jesus that

foreshadowed his resurrection.

Chuck calls it the day death took a hike.

There's a story in the 11th chapter of John that captures our attention and holds us to the very end.

As it occurred in the lives of three people especially,

we witness changes taking place.

And even toward the end, an amazing surprise awaited them.
