On today’s show, David interviews David and Morgan Stanhope, a NY couple who started buying RE during covid in New York, and never looked back. With little more than advice from David and Brandon on Biggerpockets about what to look for and what to buy, they found their first 1% rule property on the MLS using a realtor! Dave and Morgan share how they had to overcome the hurdle of buying an STR vs a traditional rental, how Morgan had to trust Dave when it came to making the right decision, and what it was like navigating the difficult conversations in the beginning. They go on to share how they rent the property out as a sober living facility and eventually scaled to 13 homes!
