| 1:06.5 | now have an 8% greater chance of getting colon cancer. No. talking about a sedentary lifestyle where you're sitting for long periods of time, |

| 1:20.2 | When that happens, for every two hours of this consistent sitting day after day after day, |
| 1:26.6 | the risk of colon cancer increases by 8%. Number three, |
| 1:33.6 | dementia. You're increasing your risk of dementia with a sedentary lifestyle. Again, research-backed, |
| 1:41.6 | 12 hours of sitting consistently increases the risk of dementia by up to 50%. |
| 1:50.9 | And even without an official diagnosis of dementia, a sedentary lifestyle does impact our brain. |
| 2:02.3 | It impacts our cognitive functions in areas like memory. |
| 2:07.3 | We're more forgetful when we are sedentary. |
| 2:11.5 | Number four, increased anxiety and a greater risk for depression. |
| 2:18.3 | And then number five, when you're sitting all the time, when you have a sedentary lifestyle, |
