On January 4th, 1998, a young girl was born who would have her life brutally ripped away

by a man who she loved dearly and who she thought cared for her in return.

cup of murder. Tia Rigg was born on January 4th, 1998, and at the time of our story, was an extremely

popular 12-year-old girl attending the Albion High School in Manchester, England. She was described by those who loved her as a happy young girl,

strong-willed, and incredibly free-spirited.

She loved watching sports, particularly Manchester United,

and was a wonderful big sister to her three younger siblings.

She lived with her mother, Lynn Rigg, her siblings, and both of her grandparents in Cheatham Hill.

On April 3, 2010, John Madden called Lynn Rigg and asked if Tia would go to his nearby home and watch his 10-year-old daughter.

John was Lynn's brother, and Tia, willingly agreeing

to watch her little cousin, happily went off to her uncle's home just 100 yards away. She loved

her uncle John and was excited to go visit with him and hope that they could watch the Manchester

versus Chelsea game together that afternoon. What neither she nor her mother knew or could have ever imagined

was that this beloved member of their family, a man who had a quote, obsessive interest in

pornography relating to pedophilia, had something horribly nefarious planned
