next time? Rehearsing says, let me replay this mistake 10 more times and make myself feel worse.

That is useless. A lot of people think rumination is responsibility. It is not. It is just emotional overwork. And if you handled a conversation poorly, fine. And if you missed an opportunity, fine. And if you froze when you should have been direct, fine. Notice it. Learn from it. Correct it. Then move on. You do not become better by staring at the mistake longer. You become better by changing the behavior next time.

Tonight's assignment is simple. Take one thing that did not go well today and write down the lesson in a single sentence. Then stop thinking about it. That is enough. That is matured, that is
