The deal that got weird, the follow-up they forgot, the task they still have not handled

and the conversation they need to have, the thing hanging over them.

And because they do not close those loops, their mind never really rests.

That is expensive. Unfinished thoughts drain energy. Unmade decisions create tension. Loose ends steal peace. You do not need to solve everything tonight. But you do need to stop letting everything stay vague. So if something is hanging over, you define it. What is it? What is the next step? When will you handle it? That is how you close mental tabs. Tonight's assignment is simple. Write down every open loop that is still floating around in your head, then next to each one, write the next action or the decision attached to it. Not perfection and not full resolution, just clarity. Your brain rests better when it knows something has a place.

And close the mental tabs tonight. You will think more clearly tomorrow.
