I like to imagine Eddie listening and going oh no

Dear God what's he gonna say? That's why I tell Eddie, my mom and my wife and my kids don't listen because I tell stories and whether you like it or not you're in my stories and you won't always like it. I went to Eddie and I said, the radio business is

evolving and the listener experience has to evolve with it.

And the radio experience was built like every other business.

They don't sell you hamburgers because they think you're cute.

Sell your hamburgers, even if they pour their heart and soul into the hamburger,

so that they can make more on the hamburger than it costs to make it and provide a living for themselves.

And you know you might grow larger and larger as a company but that's that's the way every

business works and I know that makes some people uncomfortable and everything

ought to be donated if you do it should all should be for charity because there a lot of people feel that making a

profit is unclean it's dirty they're ashamed of it.

I'm always amused when I ask someone how's your business doing?

Oh, nobody wants to say they're doing well, because they're all afraid, French Revolution

style that they're going to get to guillotine for being profitable.

Oh, I was just, I was just, I was, I was just, I was, I did. So are you losing money?

So are you losing money?

I'm not losing money.

If I was stacking up how you're doing this year versus how you've done in the 30 years you've

had your business, would this be the best, the worst,

or somewhere in the middle? Well, actually, believe it or not, it's our best. Okay? All right. Well, let's lock you up for making a profit. You clearly are scared that that's how my reaction is going to be.
