I generally would approach Matthew 8, what I'm calling the cycle of the supernatural,

to provide a revelation for people that do not understand the power of being

connected to the local church.

I still believe God's best idea for reaching the world is the local church.

Let me say that again.

I still believe God's best idea for reaching the world is the local church.

One of the challenges with that is people don't understand their responsibility to do more than attend their responsibility

to get connected and that connection has to manifest itself in three ways.

There are three ways in which biblically I've found that you connect to an apostolic church

or a church that is modeling after the Bible or the book of Acts instead of just imaging forth culture.

It's very important that we understand we are not going to reach the world by imaging forth culture.

We don't need to show them what they see on television and then put a little bit of Jesus in it.

We need to begin to image forth our scriptural responsibility to show people the king and

his kingdom. I have no greater responsibility as a leader than to show people the king and teach

people the kingdom. So I'm wanting to get a people to understand that

through submission to the word of God, through service to the house of God, and through seed

into the kingdom of God, we get connected to an apostolic expression. Submission and service and seed. Before anybody

in the book of Acts could connect to the Apostles' Church, they had to submit to the Apostles'

doctrine, and the doctrine was a doctrine that had never been heard before in the history of the

world, and they had no Bible to back it up.
