In Mark 10, there's that incredible familiar story about a blind man by the name of Bartameas.

And Bartimaeus can't see, but he can hear.

And somebody mentions that Jesus is passing by.

And instead of Bartamaeus complaining about what he did not have, he used what he did have to get to what he did not have.

He didn't have eyes, but he did have ears.

And he lifted up his voice.

And he said, son of David, have mercy on me.

And the people around him told him to shut up.

Because nobody will know the way you act

until they know what you need.

And other people may be content to go home exactly like they were before they got in their car and left their house.

But some of us have determined that whatever needs to be done in us tonight,

we're going to cry out to a king that has the ability to change our situation. Amen.

So the Bible, the Bible said concerning Bartamaus that he cried out all the more.

Opposition either make you shut up or to make you get loud enough to get through it.

Jesus never stopped until Bartamas got louder.

Not because Jesus was moved by the volume,

but because he was moved by the passion that the volume represented.

So we're going to sing through it again.

And I want to make this little metal roof rattle.

I hope people walk out of the chicken plant.

Because some of us have determined that we've been quiet long enough.
