Deuteronomy chapter 21, and then I want to read a verse from Galatians chapter 3.

First, Deuteronomy, chapter 21, verses 22 and 23.

God says, if a man has committed a crime punishable by death, and he is put to death, and you hang him on a tree, his body shall not remain

all night on the tree, but you shall bury him the same day, for a hanged man is cursed by God.

So it's cursed to be hung on a tree. That's what happens for a crime punishable by death,
