The the Oh, If you could get rid of everything bad about banks and build one from scratch, you'd build a different kind of bank.

no extra fees for spending abroad and definitely doesn't close

before you finish work. You'd build tools to help manage bills, teach kids good many habits,

and give interest on personal and joint accounts.

So what would that look like?

The curious case of cold hands.

Unlike quite a few characters we've dealt with or focused on, his story appears to be complete.

But that doesn't mean we won't learn more about him, like say who the heck he was, and the implications surrounding his story itself are far, very far from complete.

This might be what matters more.

As much as I'm curious who his identity is, or who he was, this might be of lesser importance than what he can do or what he suggests is possible for others to do, or others to do with a capital o.

Because Cold Hands scratches the surface regarding the magical potential and potency of greenseers.

Some of this parallels what the others are capable of, which might have originally emanated from the children.

Cold Hands is at the nexus of these concepts, a ranger and an undead skin changer, perhaps,

beyond the wall, sent to bring Bran to Bloodraven's cave, yet he cannot pass the

magical barriers on either of those himself.

So he is affected by magic intended to keep out the whites, but he lacks many if not most of their traits.

Despite the mystery or perhaps in part because of it, he's absolutely one of the most unique characters in the song of ice and fire.

And by doing a deep dive on him, we can inch ourselves closer to some of the central mysteries

of the northern, old, Others New Long Night,

whatever you want to call it, Plotline.
