0:50.3	On May 5, 1991, police in Altamira, Brazil, received a report that Aelton Fonseca, a 10-year-old boy, was missing.
0:57.4	46 days later, his remains were found. They were taken to a morgue, but somehow disappeared before they could be further examined. This became the first of a series of crimes
1:03.8	that were later referred to as the Altamira child emasculations. All of the victims were young
1:10.5	boys between the ages of 8 and 14 years old,
1:13.6	and all were killed between 1989 and 1993. Ailton Fonseca just happened to be the first known
1:22.9	victim, according to the sources, the first one they talk about at least. These boys not only had their lives brutally ripped away from them,

1:34.7	they were sexually mutilated in truly unimaginable ways.
1:39.5	Each body was found naked or in various stages of undress.
1:43.7	Some suffered from burns, and some even had
1:46.6	their eyes gouged out. But all had one thing in common. They were each castrated. Another
1:54.2	victim who was killed on January 1st, 1992, was Jardelaide de Cunha, 13 years old, whose body was found four days after he disappeared.
