Greetings Clark's World Citizens.

We don't have much in the way of news before we begin September's podcast, but I will begin by saying that we are recruiting for our slush army.

Neil has put up some requirements in order to become one of our slush readers.

I will warn the writers out there however you will not be able to submit to Clark's World

if you are one of our slush readers.

So I highly, highly recommend heading over to that site and seeing if you'll fit in with us.

This coming weekend is Labor Day weekend and

I am trying to get down to DragonCon and Atlanta.

Hopefully Hurricane Earl will not get in my way. But if I do

manage to fly down there, there is Strolling with the Stars, which is put together by Stu Siegel.

It's at 9 a.m. in front of the Hyatt on the Peachtree Street entrance.

It's a one mile walk with your favorite stars in the science fiction genre. So come out, have some great

conversation, and take a walk. Also, the PARSC Awards are at 4 o'clock PM on Saturday.

I am so excited.

I will be there with flying colors

and I will be anxiously awaiting the results of the short story category in which we are nominated.

So cross your fingers if you're not going to be there, you know, send some good vibes. I can't wait until I know one way or another.

I'm looking at the schedule trying to tell you exactly where it's going to be and I think I've got it down.
