| 0:39.3 | We have a very special guest today, August Nymphs, who joins us actually from the same city that I'm recording from right now, Minneapolis, Minnesota. |
| 0:50.3 | August, do you want to introduce yourself and then we'll jump into the topic of today, |
| 0:55.6 | which is the Cuban Revolution and U.S. imperialism? Yes, August, Nelps, Nick, it's a real honor |
| 1:05.6 | and a privilege to be able to be on the broadcast, very important broadcasts, very important for us who do Cuba |
| 1:13.7 | Solidarity Work. I teach at the University of Minnesota, been here for many, many years, |
| 1:20.5 | and my main political work is Cuba Solidarity Work, and we've been doing that religiously since 1990 when the Minnesota |

| 2:07.3 | of international movements. He was, I believe he's gone to Cuba several times. He did a lot |
| 2:13.3 | of delegate work in Latin America. I think his last delegation was actually meeting with |
| 2:21.2 | Hugo Chavez before he passed away. And I think that was in 2007. But I think turning to the topic |
| 2:29.0 | to today, it's really important. So this coming Monday, April 20th, marks, you know, the anniversary of the 67-year |
| 2:40.0 | anniversary of what is known as the Bay of Pigs. And you, the Cuba Solidarity Community is hosting |
| 2:48.5 | an event at May Day Books here in Minnesota or in Minneapolis. |
| 2:53.2 | I just wanted to give a shout out to that. |
