And we're going to be talking today about the longer arc of resistance to immigration and customs enforcement presence here in the Twin Cities.

But we'll also be talking about the state repression and the state violence that ESA has faced specifically.

Issa is actually facing the most serious charges of the 300 plus people who were arrested.

And ESA was also to our knowledge the very first person, the very first community protector here in the Twin Cities,

who was arrested and brutalized by ICE for resisting their violent raids in our communities of color, particularly in South Minneapolis.
