0:00.0	Have you ever felt stuck in your journey of apprenticeship to Jesus?
0:07.9	Like you hit a plateau and you feel like, man, I'm just not moving forward year over month
0:14.8	over whatever. Or you feel like you're up against a wall. Like something is just there to block
0:21.2	your way forward. Or you feel like something is holding you back from your past, a wound,
0:26.0	or in your present a habit of sin or nagging doubt that just won't go away. But for whatever
0:31.2	reason, you just feel or you felt stuck. If so, you are not alone. To start off, John chapter 21,
0:40.5	a post-Easter story, verse 15, when they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter,
0:46.5	Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these? And in context, if you're familiar with the story,
0:52.5	the these are fish, which are more than fish, are symbolic for a career ambition, so to speak,
0:58.8	apart from apprenticeship to Jesus. Yes, Lord Peter said, you know that I love you. Jesus said,
1:04.4	feed my lamb. That was his metaphor for you and for I of the church, his lamb, his flock.
1:11.8	Again, Jesus said, Simon, son of John, do you love me? He answered, yes, Lord, you know that I love
1:18.3	you. Jesus said, take care of my she. The third time, and remember, you're stepping into a story.
1:24.2	How many times did Peter deny Jesus? Three, right? So this is a healing process between Jesus and Peter.
1:31.9	The third time he said to them, Simon, son of John, do you love me? Peter was hurt. Notice that
1:38.4	in the healing he was hurt. Because Jesus asked him, the third time, do you love me? And he said,
1:44.4	Lord, you know all things you know that I love you. Jesus said, feed my sheep. Very truly, I tell
1:52.9	you and pay attention to this, when you were younger, you dressed yourself and went where you wanted.
2:00.0	But when you are old, you will stretch out your hands and someone else will dress you and lead you
2:06.4	where you do not want to go. Jesus said this to indicate the kind of death by which Peter would
2:12.1	glorify God, then he said to him, follow me. This is a story about Peter and his journey of
