Let me begin with honor.

I think in some ways, I'll just use a metaphor here.

In some ways, I think what happens is the spirit dips a toe.

Have you heard this before?

In every community to kind of get the feel if there's welcome,

if there's longing, if there's desire.

And I think what I'd notice this morning, even with prayer,

if you don't come for pre-service prayer,

sometimes that's just the most beautiful thing to see what God is up to

in the nucleus of a people and how that reverberates.

I feel like there's a welcoming of God amongst you.

And so that's such a...

I think that's the highest compliment a church can receive

is not your stats and your numbers or whatever,

or your buildings, it's the matter of the hearts of the people

of God open to more.

And so I just sense a spirituality of more in this place.

And of all places like Portland the other day,

I'll stop in the middle of the street.

On my first day here and this girl just said,

I heard you just talking about God to who you're walking with,

I want to prophesy over you.
