Before we get into this month's episode, I wanted to say something about the audio,

because we all know that Zoom can be weird when it comes to audio quality.

When I was working on it, I noticed something else.

There are noises and voices in the background of this episode that do not belong to me,

Melissa, or anybody we interviewed.

I don't want to say exactly where, but let us know on social if you hear anything unusual, because we definitely did. Okay, on with the show. I'm maybe being from California, my wife having lived in Northern California, people were

telling us that Eureka Springs had this kind of like Berkeley hippie vibe and that we might

enjoy it.

And now that you got to remember, this is 16 years ago, 17 years ago, and there wasn't

you know, yelp reviews and trip advisor and all that kind of stuff.

So we literally just drove up their side unseen and went to a cafe and started asking around

and talking and someone turned us on to the crescent hotel.

So we had no idea that it was this giant historic, you know, and ghost riddles, plays. So the grandparents were gonna go to lunch and

they sent the kids to us and the kids came down to this nice suite that had two big rooms and

the kids are having a great time climbing on all this ancient furniture. We don't figure they

can hurt anything. We're just having fun and relaxing.

And the girls come running in, and I mean they're just toddlers.

And they come running into our room and they climb up on our bed and curl up all

into the pillows with mom. And we're just like, wow, what's that about?

And they say, the doctor came and told us we couldn't jump on the bed anymore. And we were like, the doctor, what are you talking about?

You know, somebody from the hotel, the door was open.
