There are few things in nature as powerful as a forest fire.

Once it has gained momentum, these vicious fires can consume hundreds, even

thousands of square miles, leaving behind a trail of destruction and scorched earth. What looks like

a tragedy is actually a magical event, assuming no one's house is involved. This is a very

powerful and important act of nature. This is how Mother Nature clears out the old to make way for the new. It removes previously restricted limitations and helps reset the conditions so new life can form. While this process begins in difficulty and the charred land takes a long time to heal. It gives the forest a fresh start. Soon new,

picturesque plant species are able to thrive since they no longer have to compete for the sun with

the previously tall, dead trees that hoarded the light. Glorious, new trees are able to climb

majestically to the sky because room has been made

for its roots to expand.

Although forest fires are painful in the moment and for some time after they've run their course,

they are a vital aspect of evolution.

This applies not only to nature, but also to your own business and life.

Often, the biggest constraints to your expanding success

is the stubborn overgrowth of the past, relationships that have run their course and are now a

hindrance, time commitments you once made that no longer serve your current goals. In your business,

internal processes and procedures that are now inefficient, products that are outdated,

employees who have become unengaged, and leaders who are still clinging to days gone by.
