Today we're going to take you into the heart of a story that is really one of the most compelling that explains, I think, the dynamic inside of Iran and how difficult it is for,

in particular for women in Iran and for so many families that are separated through these

fights for freedom. And we've been watching these five, potentially six

Iranian soccer players who were in Australia who have now defected an incredibly big life

decision that they have made. They refused to sing the national anthem after 30,000 Iranians

were slaughtered after protesting in the streets a couple of months back.

So today I will be speaking with Shiva Amini, who is a former Iranian national soccer player

who also defected to Switzerland because she was ostracized and banned from being an athlete in Iran because she wore shorts

and she didn't wear her hijab when she was playing in Switzerland.

She's going to tell you her story better than I ever could, and it's extremely moving.
