Do you want to know a quality that is so sexy and magnetic and refreshing and beautiful to observe that's been kind of shamed out of us as a culture because it's kind of cool right to appear effortless like we don't really

care you know we're so unattached don't don't care about the outcomes because we're just so good and cool

where we are, right?

It's enthusiasm.

I know that it can appear far more sophisticated to not be excited about things and I know sometimes

that when I appear excited about things it can appear as if I'm like maybe a little bit naive, right?

Or like, oh, Pollyanna over there who is so excited and enthusiastic about what she's

working on, there can be that kind of judgment from other people, right?

Well, I want to talk to you today about enthusiasm because I believe it is the coolest gift the coolest quality a person can have in fact

my mom said to me once years ago she said you know with all of my children she has five daughters if I could

give them one gift I would want it to be enthusiasm this passion this hunger this desire for

life I want to tell you to what Roldol said about this. He said,

I began to realize how important it was to be an enthusiast in life. If you are

interested in something, no matter what it is, go at it full

speed. Embrace it with both arms. Hug it, love it, and above all become passionate about it.

Lukewarm is no good.

Why wouldn't we be enthusiastic about what it is that we care about?

Enthusiasm is beautiful. It means that we have courage. We're not afraid to want things. We're not afraid to want things we're not afraid to be happy. And a lot of people

don't know this but the word enthusiasm itself, the original meaning means to be with spirit, working with spirit. So when we're

enthusiastic when we feel that energy in our body it means that there is

something greater than us that we are cooperating with.
