All right, everybody, welcome back to another edition of The Teardown.

My name is Jeff Gluck, and I'm along with my co-worker Jordan Bianchi.

We are motorsports writers for The Athletic.

And today, Jordan is at Darlington Raceway, where he's just thrown it all the way back to, I don't know, last week in terms of excitement, at least, and drama and controversy.

Ross Chastain, once again, center of attention. I'm here in Colorado at home. But, yeah,

another fun race to talk about here, Jordan. Content King. That's what he is. He's the content

king. I mean, I don't know what else you can say it

almost feels like you don't need to start watching a nascar race until like the last 30 or 40

laps almost and because everything else that really happens before that doesn't really matter

it feels like you're going to get a late restart or something of that nature and there's

probably going to be an incident on the racetrack and that's probably what you're going to be talking

about because this race for the most part was not a race that there was a lot going on and then the last

what 20 laps 15 let whatever it was that's all anyone're going to be talking about this week yeah i mean

you were you were messaging me uh you know as the laps were winding down there you're like i don't know

what we're going to talk about after this and then all of a sudden ryan newman has his incident

and you know cautions breed cautions ca. Cautions breed controversy and drama.

And especially when you've got

Ross Chastain in the middle of all this

fighting for the win and you're like, okay,

yeah, this is just, you just at this point

and just sit back and kick up your leg and be like,
