My name is Jeff Buck. I'm a motorsports writer for the athletic,

and each week I ask the same 12 questions to a different race car driver. Up next is William Byron

of Hendrick Motorsports, one of only three drivers so far to win multiple races this season,

at least as of the recording of this podcast. And one thing I really

enjoyed about talking to William is he clearly reads the 12 questions or is aware of them,

because as you'll hear, he keeps saying, I thought about this one and, you know, here's my

answer kind of thing. So he clearly thought of his answers ahead of time, at least the ones that

are not mixed up for each person. And I think that always helps when a driver kind of is able

to put some advanced thinking into it or seen what other people have said and appreciate

William Byron doing that. So let's jump right in and give it a listen.
