I'm Trey Orndorf, a political scientist at Oklahoma Christian University,

and I'm joined by the professor of law at Chase Law School, Ken Katkin. Ken, welcome to our

slowish go through the U.S. Constitution. Yeah, it's great to be back. Yeah, it's always fun.

You know, it's been a lot of fun for me.

I love doing the every week, kind of the stories that are happening there.

But I like the idea of kind of what we're more used to doing, which is, you know, we don't teach inside of current events.

So it is fun to get into those current events and see how those are influenced by the things

that we teach.

But it's also fun then to kind of step back in this show and say, hey, but what are some

things that you might not know if you're always doing the current event?

And so having that chance to kind of understand the Constitution is a big one for me.

It's one of the things, if you know, you're going to be in my introductory government class, which I know many students, they dread when they come to any

school. Like, oh, chin-eds. I don't want to take government. But I do really think it's important

for really all citizens to have an idea of their constitution, at least of Reddit, and not just

have read it, but as we've seen, kind of dug into it a little bit. So you kind of know what's

going on and what's happened. And so that's what we're going to be doing here in this episode

today. We're going to be taking on today, Article 1, Section 9 in just a moment.

So, Ken, you know, we have spent a number of weeks now.

And as a matter of fact, even you and Mike were able to step in when I had a moment.

And we've been working through the powers of Congress.
