May God ever keep in the forefront of our minds the consciousness of eternity and the fact

that we stand on the threshold of eternity every day.

None of us know when we're going to take that step,

and yet we plan as though we are going to be here forever.

But how many are like that rich man of which Jesus sp spoke when he said,

he said, I am rich, I am increased with goods,

I have need of nothing.

And the Lord said, thou fool.

This night your soul's going to be required of you.

He was laying up his plans, I'm going to tear down my barns built bigger and so on.
