Second Peter, Simon, the name Simon of course was the given name.

Peter is the name that Jesus gave to him.

He is a bondslave and an apostle.

It seems that bonslave was first, apostle second,

of Jesus Christ, writing to those that have obtained like precious faith with us through

the righteousness of God and our Savior Jesus Christ.

So Peter identifies himself as the writer,

he is writing to those who have received like precious faith and that word

precious again big old rough, tough Peter, and yet this word seems to be one of his favorite

words.
