And so the topic is the common faith.

And so what we're going to do is I'm going to take,

we're going to use Luther's Small Catechism, believe it or not,

like we try to every year.

And we're going to look at the Apostles' Creed,

and it's breakup in the three articles in Luther's Small Catechism.

And so the question I want to present is,

the reason we have creeds, the reason we confess the common faith, or at least one of the reasons, is because there have been throughout history objections to the Christian faith.

There have been objections to every article of the creed.

And so what I want to do today is ask how does the creed deal with objections to the Christian faith in each of these articles?

And so I'm going to go and try to give it to people who have sort of written books or are known for their knowledge on certain articles of the Apostles' Creed.
