Colin Calhurt once said on one of the many shows he's done over the years.

He said, it was a good line.

He said, there's football season, and then there's waiting for football season.

And I kind of feel like come Monday, we're at the beginning of waiting for football season.

Yes, there will be a Super Bowl, but the Super Bowl is always, you know, a two-week wait,

a standalone kind of thing, more of a pop culture event than it is a football game.

This is truly the last Sunday of real football start to finish that we will have until next September.

Kind of gets depressing, doesn't it?

It's kind of the world we live in, too, in the United States of America.

It is football, football, and football.

Yes, ice is coming.

It's not what we want.

We don't want the ice. We certainly don't want
