You were listening to the Battle Ready podcast. My name is Aaron McManus and I'm here with my dad Erwin McManus. It's gonna be your day. It is good to be here today.

We are doing this podcast the day after our last filming at Hillsong Channel. Yeah, we just finished our show. We've been doing season two.

Season two. But it kind of felt like just one long season from season one to season two because we kind of started season one and then hit COVID, took a little break and then went straight into doing them at our house.

Which ended up being Battle Ready. But that's why for me it feels like three seasons because the season is storing extreme COVID quarantine was completely different.

We were shooting all the shows at our house and doing it very differently and having a zoom kind of community and very different than being on the site.

Yeah, and then finished season two. I guess all of season two is on set and so just kind of feel like it's kind of going together. But the show is called McManus. It's on Hillsong Channel. It's on video on demand. It's on their website.

All that stuff. It's kind of cool. Yeah, it's been fun doing it. It's been fun doing it. Yeah, and I guess it's been getting good feedback. So that's kind of cool too. It's always exciting.

Well, my understanding is that our show is doing well. Doing really, really well. It might be better than number two. I don't know.

Who knows? Here we go. So we just came off of filming that and we do a few episodes at a time which is kind of cool and we get to bring in some young friends and have a conversation.

So we shoot pretty much all day and then we both drive to our own homes and which is an hour and a half away from where we shoot you in Orange County and we sleep.

And so I'm tired. Are you tired? I am tired. I went to bed. Extremely early. I think it was sleep early, but I was hoping to. Yeah. And then and then you and then we filmed a message from you this morning, which was kind of cool.

Yeah. So in the last, but five days, I've shot Easter and Good Friday and Palm Sunday and then three Hillsong. I make many shows. You must be tired and then battle ready.

And then it's a few other things that were work related. Yeah.

And we're finishing editing of my book kind of why should give a shout out to Brooke Figaro for helping me refine all the.

The last pieces of my book that need to be cleaned up. That's exciting. So would I would I would I find after shooting a long day is that I don't want to talk anymore.

Well, then you feel like a few days. A podcast or so. No, I realized there's a lot of talking. This is this is kind of like the afterburn. Like, you know, so you're going to be unfiltered. I think so. I think so.

We got him raw unfiltered vulnerable. Ready ready to just go deep.

Okay, I'm ready for the DMs and no, no, no. But it was last episode we had Joe Smith. And that was really special.

I loved it so much. It was really nice. Yeah. And then this this episode is just me and you, which I think is nice too.

Well, I have two questions to come to mind. One is coming today. I don't know if it's accurate or not because sometimes I hear from hopeful people

and sometimes I hear from hopeless people. But this morning I heard hopeful all the restaurants are going to open up indoor Nellie next week. No way.

Well, there may be no way. I don't know if it's really just trying to get us. I have not. I have not confirmed. I have not.
