Summary
We head to Portsmouth, on the south coast, to examine the murder of Linda Cook in December 1986. Tracking a pair of shoes worn by the killer looks like it could be the key to solving the crime, leading to it being dubbed the 'cinderella murder'. With a spate of sex attacks in the area, and now a brutal murder, police are under pressure to make a quick arrest. Suspicion falls on an 18 year old sailor from the Royal Navy, Michael Shirley.
