0:48.8	but nonetheless we are diving into the churches of revelation. So basically the subject matter of this is in the very
0:56.7	beginning of the book of revelation as Jesus is giving this revelation, this vision to John as he's on the island of Patmos, his disciple.
1:06.8	He begins by addressing seven specific churches of that day, the seven churches that are located in Asian minor so we're just going through those things and the reason why I want to touch base on this for those of you who again might be joining for the first time is because we are told at the very end of each addressing
1:25.6	to these churches, those with ears to hear listen to this.
1:30.4	And this is not just applicable to those churches but but these are warnings these are
1:34.7	corrections these are exhortations and encouragement that we as a body of believers can
1:39.6	still cling to today especially in times like this where, you know, people are saying, hey, like Jesus is coming soon, which is true. Jesus is coming soon.
1:49.0	And, you know, given the circumstances of our day and age, we really truly need to be repenting,
1:54.4	getting realigned with the Lord and walking in truth and righteousness.
1:58.4	Amen. So yeah, we are going to dive into the third church, which is located in Revelation Chapter 2,
2:05.3	versus 12 through 17. But before we begin with that, I just want to say a few things.
