You know good old quarantine vibes whatever you're doing. I'm so glad that you decide to just pause, take a minute to dive into the word

with me, specifically in the Book of Revelation, as you guys can tell from the title of today's

podcast.

So basically what we're doing here on the Botan Beloved

podcast for the next little bit is we are diving into the seven churches that are

mentioned in the Book of Revelation. So if you didn't listen to last week's episode go do that go do that

real quick you can listen to it cue this up and listen next just because you know all

these things follow subsequently one after the next so you know or you could just cute it up and listen

afterwards honestly it doesn't really matter but if you just want to listen in

order go do that but before we dive into that before we get into the second church, the Church of Smyrna today, I just want to let y'all

know that I am praying and I am warring over everything that's going on in this country and I

just want to encourage you to do the same because

I know that we are living in troublesome times. We are living in times that are testing us,

times that are frustrating, times that are, you know, causing I think many people to feel

hopeless and overwhelmed and freaked out and the remedy is putting our faith in Jesus,

receiving hope through him, peace through him, joy through him, and his word is meant to not only bring correction, but that consolation that we need, right, that comfort.

So I just pray over each and every single one of y'all right now in Jesus' name that you know whatever you're feeling, whatever fears you might have or whatever's weighing you down, that you are reminded of the peace that comes through Christ Jesus, the security that you have.

If you have Christ Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you get to rest in that.

And so we're going to go into this beautiful little bit of apocalyptic literature today.
