Hey, Jimmy. Howdy, Dom? In 1981, six young people in Medjugoria began reporting apparitions of the Virgin Mary.

Last week, we talked about the apparitions themselves. And in the 43 years since they began, there's been a complex

series of events looking at whether or not they are authentic. So what can we conclude about

the apparitions? Are they spiritually helpful? Are they of supernatural origin? And what does

Jimmy think? That's what we'll be talking about on this episode of Jimmy Aiken's mysterious world.

Jimmy, where do you want to begin today?

By giving a reminder of something I stated last week,

Medjugoria is controversial, and one of the things that I really want to emphasize

is that I approach this mystery from a position of neutrality.

Before research in this episode, I had not studied Medjugoria in detail, and I didn't have

strong opinions on it.

I was largely neutral and open to whatever the church might determine.

As always, when I did start research in Medjugoria, I tried to be balanced.
