Welcome to Searchlight, a survey through Scripture with Pastor John Corson.

It is our desire to bring you a systematic study of the entire Bible,

chapter by chapter, book by book.

On our last Searchlight program, we began an intriguing look at the body of Christ.

The reason that we are looking at the body of Christ is that we want to gain an understanding

of what the church should look like today.

Now you know that the church is the body of Christ.

And by looking at the physical body of Jesus, we can gain insight as to what the church should look like.

To get the full picture, we are going to review a good section of our last program,

then continue on to get a complete pattern for the church.

With our study, here now is Pastor John.

If you want to know what the body of Christ is to be,

all you have to do is look at Jesus,

look to Jesus, look on Jesus.

And by the way, for you students of theology,

that's true concerning any point of theological understanding.
