The weather outside is frightful. Yeah. And the only way I can so delight. Well, yeah, it's getting there. Still I still think by the fire is is is where you want to go for delight.

Book burning. Yeah. No, delight. Oh, what? What? Delight? Delight? No, if you need light. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Um, don't get too close to your book will catch on fire.

Oh, weird thing that I haven't been able to stop thinking about on the way here. Um, I was getting on the bus. Uh, I was waiting at the bus stop for a few minutes. Mm-hmm.

And then you ever wait at the bus stop for a bus and then somebody strolls up like 10 seconds before the bus gets there and then they try to get on the front. Yeah, I do that all the time. Yeah, it's fine. Uh, well, I do it because you know what? I don't get mad about it. Uh,

be good. Well, I don't why would I get mad at myself? Um, I just when I stroll up, I don't know what it is, but bus drivers love me and they pull up right to me. Yeah. And sometimes I feel bad. It's like, yeah, I'm cutting, but like that guy pulled up right exactly where I am. I should move out of the way. And so they just take him one step up.

I know you were like kidding. Or you were trying to make it sound like you're kidding. Yeah, but I really think there's some part of you. Uh-huh. That really thinks like, no, I'm like bus drivers like me. I'm more likeable just. No, it's not that I'm likeable. It's just that when they're driving down the street, I've got like a certain energy that they can, that they, that they perceive. This is a guy that wants to get on the bus. Yeah, this guy really wants to get on the bus.

This is a guy I'd be glad to have on my bus. Yeah, if only they knew that like you've been riding out an expired metro card on that thing. No, uh, I've gone on. I've gone on the bus with expired metro cards, but then I signed up for the thing where it just fills up all of that. You have that. Yeah. I've been too afraid that they'll just. It's the MTA. I feel like one day they'll be like, oh no, we raised our prices to $50,000 retroactively. Exactly. Let's take all the money and be like, oh no, you can.

You can get that back and then like you got to fill out forms and mail them in and stuff. Yeah. No, I think I did mine online. So this guy is a little taller than me. A little more eccentric looking than me. Okay.

He's got like wacky hair, but like not he's not complete mad scientist. Yeah. I think he's like like he probably he's he's he's he's got a few ideas for inventions. But he hasn't. Exactly.

He's not going through them. It's screws aren't loose, but they're not the tightest screws. Yeah, they can they use a little tight. Exactly. So whatever. It's fine.

So the bus pulls up right to him. Whatever or it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. Okay. The doors of the bus fly open.

And and then somebody was getting out and it was a woman with a tiny child, like, but like a toddler. Right. So the kid could walk. Yeah, but like just bear. Yeah, holding hands. Yeah, but like holding like.

There were the kid was walking in front and like both her hands were up holding on to. There's a hostage situation. Yeah, maybe look. So this guy is not stepping out of the way for them to get off the bus.

And I'm like, first he cuts me. Yeah. And now he's trying to barge in while people are trying to let the people off first. It's a it's like a two year old maybe like one and a half year old.

So the woman walks this girl down the stairs of the bus. But then there's that one last step that's like kind of.

Yeah, the street. Yeah, the huge step sometimes. So this guy is not getting out of the way. And then he like kind of crouches down.

And grabs the little girl. Uh oh, no.

Picks her up and like puts her down on the sidewalk. And I was like, oh, this guy was just meeting his wife and their kid and helping them.

So I like squeeze by them and I get on the bus because I'm like, all right, this family like this guy's okay. No, that guy was just a helpful guy. And then gets on the bus.

But in New York City, is it like if you're a parent in New York City and a somewhat eccentric possibly mad scientist grabs your like one to get your kid with both hands.
