Welcome along. Once again, it's the final installment of our deep dive series over the Christmas period.

Looking at the Christmas, 1985 Christmas 1985 TV times and taking a

glimpse at some of the things that were on telly back then

it's just occurred to me you know we did say it ourselves before we did

this that we might do an episode just looking at the adverts in this

magazine so we might do that in just looking at the adverts in this magazine.

So we might do that in a few days' time.

Yeah.

Or we could have mentioned some of the ads.

I mean, there was a huge amount of ads in TV times.

I don't remember.

But I think it's just because a different era in which you were used to magazines

being absolutely peppered with sort of almost like

classifieds like where you've got like about on some pages there's like 12 small ads on a page

mostly for holidays yeah because that's what used to happen i wrote a thing a while ago about like how did my, how did like people book holidays like parents or whatever back in the days when we were kids before the internet? Because now, you know, especially if you're a logistic king like yourself but even for an ordinary punter you can find

out and do so much checking on every single element of your trip before you go there that there are

like no surprises and ever and you can compare prices and read a million reviews and all the

rest of it but back then it would just be this i suppose you just see a fucking ad and it'd go of it. But back then, it would just be this, I suppose.
