TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:

ISAIAH 53:2-3 - For he grew up before him like a young plant, and like a root out of dry ground; he had no form or majesty that we should look at him, and no beauty that we should desire him. He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief….

MATTHEW 26:38 - Then he said to them, “My soul is very sorrowful, even to death; remain here, and watch with me.”

horribly on their behalf. Welcome to the

foretold to play that role in history. But before we dive in,

1:48.9

Lord God, thank you for these prophecies, how we can look back at the descriptions of Jesus
