Both God's past work and his future work to rescue us from his wrath are done through his

son Jesus Christ.

God doesn't justify anybody and will not save anybody except through Jesus.

Where do you see it?

Verse 9, much more than having now been justified, that's God's work, by his blood, that's Christ's work,

shall we be saved from the wrath of God, that's God's work, through him, that's Christ's work.

You see it?

Now let's do it in verse 10.

For if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God, that's God's work,

through the death of his son, that's Christ's work.

Much more having been reconciled, shall we be saved, that's God's work. By his life, that's Christ's work. Oh my. Oh that in Christmas

season we as a church would meditate upon Jesus.

Not just some vague notion of a deity out there.
