a Casasbelli project. So in this episode, we are continuing the China update. Initially, I had really

only budgeted one episode to catch us up in China, and now I'm realizing that was an extremely naive assumption.

I should have known that trying to recount six-ish years of war would not be brief.

I told myself I wouldn't get in the weeds and would just do the broad strokes.

Well here I am, more than 11,000 words later, and just beginning

to write the China Update Part 3. To be fair, I am glossing over a lot, but I also feel I

need to do the war justice. I'm actually enjoying researching and writing these episodes,

often to the tune of the Total War III Kingdom soundtrack so I can't complain too much

anyway this episode is long enough as it is so let's begin episode 49 the China
