We're going to talk about the investigation, Mike, but I'm going to toss it to you in regards

to what they could possibly be charged with, and also the fact that if Rebecca Harrow is not

involved in the death of the baby, they're going to look to flip her.

Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. The way it's set up, it looks like that he may have, and this is what I'm

thinking, the way the charge is written, is that he may have been abusing both the Rebecca and

Emmanuel punching them up because that black eye that you see, it's on her right eye, it looks like it's been

healed for a little bit because, you know, when you get a black eye, it's going to be pink and it's

going to swell and you've got a lot of water in your eye and it's going to take a while.

And that in that picture, it doesn't look like there's really any swelling.

So it looks like an old black eye.

And so my guess is that the way the charges are written up is that he was beating up the child and the mother. Maybe

the mother intervened, but the baby dies. And a couple of days later, as the wound on her eyes healing, they don't know what to do.

She's going to cover for him. He probably tells her, look, I can't go to prison. You know,

he's you and me together. And perhaps there was some other abuse on her part. And they decided,

they cooked up a plan to get rid of the baby's remains. And so when, you know,

family members haven't seen that baby in like about 30 days, that is, you know, absolutely,

that is a real red flag there. But I think they, the way it wrote it up, it wasn't an intentional

murder of the child. But I think what there wasn't an intentional murder of the child.

But I think it was assault upon the child, which ended up in murder.

So it's a felony murder.

But then the cover up, I think, is where they get the malice. So I'm not sure of California law, but I think that's why the charge is written the way it is.
