What ever happened to Chicago Radio?

Like Chicago newspapers, Chicago Radio was once exciting, dynamic, compelling.

And now while they're both tired and feeble, they're like putting spooned out of the Styrofoam

cup.

You could eat it and you don't need teeth, whether you're a baby, or an old man, especially

radio.

Remember the morning zoos, even the morning zoos had listeners?

And now what is it?

When they go through corporate IDE training, inclusion, diversity, equity training, it's

also conventional, all the hard edges have been sanded down, smooth, like tapioca.

No thank you.

On the left you can hear in Chicago the Bernie Bros station, WCPT progressive radio, or

as I like to call it, commy radio, but at least they have ideas, they're interested

in ideas as well, just not rhetoric, and the only other place to go, if you have a mind,

is the morning answer with Dan Proft, and Amy Jacobson, Dan's our guest today.

He broadcasts five to nine Monday through Friday, W-I-N-D-A-M-560.

And he's all about ideas, ideas that challenge you.

Ideas that maybe make you uncomfortable, but at least it's not like listening to what

kind of pizza do you like, square, or slices?

You put ketchup on a hot dog, and all that other nonsense from people with fake names

who grew up, and I don't know where, but they're not from here.
