Summary

Pastor Aaron Coe // Bitterness, comparison, envy; these chains are some of the most deadly that we can find ourselves bound up in. We feel as if we aren't good enough, and so we look at people who seemingly have it all and begin to resent both their gifting and our own, along with the God who gave out those giftings. — Pastor Aaron Coe wants us to realize the true danger of bitterness, that if we let it in, it will creep into the deepest parts of us and eat away at our soul. But there is good news. Jesus came not only to bring us from death to life but to give us life in the full. He has conquered each and every chain, including the deadly chain of bitterness, and we can look to Him in order to walk free of it forever.

0:18.1	This week, I was reminded of how grateful I am for our house I was reminded of the amazing team that we have here at Passion City Church. On Wednesday of this week, we had our team day. And usually once or twice a year, we get our whole team together. And it's a time for us to learn and be encouraged and to be equipped.
0:40.5	And we had some amazing guests come and just pour into our house and into the team of our house.
0:47.5	And one of the things that was really amazing this year is that the team from D.C. got to be a part of the team day.
0:57.2	So Ben and Donna and John and the whole team got to come down and be a part of team day and it was the first time where Passion City Atlanta
1:02.4	Passion City DC and the teams got together for team day it's pretty amazing isn't it

1:16.3	Ben is awesome, and we are so privileged to have Ben in our house.
1:20.6	But the first time I met Ben, I wanted to punch him in the face.
1:28.6	I probably ought to explain that a little bit.
1:32.0	So it was 2010, and my wife, Carmen, and I, we were entering the new year,
1:37.7	and we decided it was time to make some dietary changes in our life.
1:42.4	And so we entered 2010 going on the Daniel fast.
1:48.9	Anybody ever been on the Daniel fast? Well, the Daniel fast is basically the diet that Daniel
1:55.3	in the Bible followed, where he cut out all of the fatty foods that the king was eating. Basically, if you want the gist
2:03.8	of what the Daniel fast is, if you've ever had anything good to eat in your life, you cut all of
2:10.0	that out. And so Carmen and I started the year on the Daniel fast. The problem is that at the
2:17.1	beginning of every year, what typically happens?
2:21.7	Passion conference. And so we start the Daniel fast during passion conference. Not a great idea.
