Hey everybody welcome back to another episode of the Catholic talk show as you can see we are having our first remote talk show today and we're going to be talking about the Catholic church and plagues along with the coronavirus.

Yeah, we're going to look at how the church has responded to

worldwide pandemics and plagues throughout history.

We're going to look at who the patron saints against plagues and diseases are.

And we're going to give you some practical advice

and what you can do if you find yourself under quarantine

or if you're social distancing.

And one of the most important patrons

that the church has ever turned to in respect to protection and overturning

pandemics and epidemics and even the black death was Our Lady.

So in the coming months, nationally,

we are going to be crowning,

the Vatican is going to be crowning

Our Lady of Blalache in St. Augustine. It's a universal celebration for

the universal church and because of that coronation I think it's very fitting that

we would turn to our lady under the title of

Nuesra señora de la Leche,

our lady at La Lece,

to ask for her intercession for protection

and for a quick change of the circumstances we're facing.
